Who needs this information?
LPA accreditation will help increase marketing options through access to the LPA NVD or eNVD.
What you need to have before you start?
To become an accredited LPA producer, you must have a Property Identification Code (PIC).
A PIC is an eight-character code allocated by the Department of Primary Industries (DPI) or an equivalent authority in each state or territory to identify a livestock-producing property.
If you have purchased a property please confirm with your state or territory department of agriculture that the PIC number has been assigned to you on the PIC register.
If you are agisting or leasing a property you will need to have authority from the PIC owner to create an LPA account for that PIC. To download a third party form please click here, however if you need further assistance contact ISC Customer Service.
Check to see if your PIC is already LPA accredited. Your PIC may still be accredited to the previous owner.
You can use the LPA accreditation search tool to check.
If your PIC is already accredited to someone else, you will need to to contact ISC Customer Service to set up your registration.
If your PIC is not LPA accredited, you will need to Sign up or login to myMLA.
In myMLA, click on the arrow underneath 'Integrity and feedback'
Then click to sign up now for 'Livestock Production Assurance including NVDs'
Type in your PIC number and click 'Continue'.
Complete the registration form and click 'Continue'.
Once you click 'Continue', you will recieve an email confirming your registration.
Producers becoming LPA accredited for the first time are required to complete the LPA online learning modules and the accreditation assessment.
