Learn more about on-farm biosecurity management

From 1 September 2026, producers will be required to create or upload an On-farm Biosecurity Management Plan when undertaking Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) reaccreditation.   

Signing up to the LPA program demonstrates a commitment to responsible livestock production and continuous improvement.  This change will further strengthen confidence in Australia’s key red meat assurance program and reinforce the quality credentials which are underpinned by LPA accreditation.
