There are multiple methods of sharing your eNVD consignment using the mobile app.

We strongly recommend checking with your transporter and receiver in advance to confirm they can receive your consignment electronically to avoid any last-minute stress and confusion.

We strongly recommend checking with your transporter and receiver in advance to confirm they can receive your consignment electronically to avoid any last-minute stress and confusion.

1. If your transporter also has the eNVD mobile app

Sender: Click on the 3 dots in the top right-hand corner of the consignment and select the ‘Share via QR Code’ option to generate a QR code of the consignment information

Transporter: Click on the ‘view’ tab across the bottom of the app and use the camera to scan the QR codes

The transporter can login to the app using their own myMLA account credentials, or login as a guest to scan the QR code onto their own device

Extra help/tips

  • The sender can change the granularity of the QR codes to assist with having the QR codes digitally transferred between the senders and transporters mobile devices successfully
  • If the transporter is using the guest function, their details will need to be completed on the sender’s device before transferring the consignment to the transporter’s device

2. Your transporter does not have the eNVD mobile app, but does have access to email/SMS

Sender: Click on the 3 dots in the top right-hand corner of the consignment and select the ‘Share eNVD’ option to generate a PDF copy of the consignment

This will allow you to send a PDF copy to the transporter by email or SMS so they also have a copy on their own device.

Transporter: Check your email or text messages to confirm you have a PDF copy of the eNVD.

Extra help/tips: The transporter can complete their details on the sender’s device before the eNVD is submitted and shared to ensure all information is captured on the PDF before sending by email or SMS.

3. Your transporter (or receiver) still requires a paper copy of the LPA NVD documentation

Sender: Click on the 3 dots in the top right-hand corner of the consignment and select the ‘Download eNVD’ option.

This will allow you to save a PDF copy of the consignment to your device and then print the required hardcopies.

Transporter: You will receive a hardcopy printout of the eNVD that looks the same as a regular paper NVD for transportation/checking purposes.

The digital eNVD consignment satisfies the transporter’s legal requirements should the police and/or stock squad stop them to check that appropriate documentation has been completed and is readily available.

Please Note: Once the receiver’s details have been entered on the eNVD and the consignment has been submitted, they will be able to login to eNVD to view the incoming consignment ahead of the livestock arriving.
