If you own or use more than one Property Identification Code (PIC), please read the following tips to ensure you are managing these efficiently across your different ISC accounts.

Acquiring a new property

When you purchase a property, you will need to contact the corresponding state or territory government department to ensure the property details are updated in the PIC register to reflect the new ownership details.

Depending on the distance between your properties and the rules in your jurisdiction, it's possible you may be able to combine your multiple PIC numbers into one overall PIC number.

Refer to this ISC webpage to locate your relevant department.

Registering multiple PIC numbers to your NLIS account

When you register a new NLIS account, you can click the blue ‘add a PIC number’ button to include all your PIC numbers in the same NLIS account application.

Once your account has been activated, it will have all the PIC numbers linked to your NLIS account.

If you acquire a new PIC number, you can add it to your existing NLIS account by emailing your NLIS USER ID and the new PIC details to support@integritysystems.com.au.

If you need to add a PIC you currently use but which does not belong to you, complete the NLIS Form E - Third party authorisation

Remember: ALL Livestock movements onto your PIC number must be recorded within 48 hours of the livestock arriving.

Your LPA responsibilities

A separate Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) account is required for each PIC, even where they share the same owner.

Each PIC requires separate LPA accreditation with the associated payment. However, the PIC owner can skip the assessment questions if they have completed another LPA accreditation process within the previous six months.

For streamlined access, you can link multiple LPA accounts to your myMLA account by following the steps in this factsheet

If you already own a PIC and need to create a new LPA account for it, click on this link to register.

If you need to create a new LPA account for a PIC you do not own, click on this link to complete an authorisation form.

Accessing eNVDs for my PIC numbers

Your eNVD profile will only display the accounts and PICs linked via your myMLA account.

Senders: When creating an eNVD, ensure the corresponding PIC is LPA-accredited and linked to your myMLA account.

You can change the account/profile that has been automatically selected by clicking on the blue downward arrow in the ‘profile’ section and selecting the correct account or PIC number.

When using the eNVD app, swipe the account/profile cards across the top of the screen until the correct account or PIC number has been selected

Receivers: If you are an abattoir or saleyard (or any other receiver), ensure the correct PIC number and the corresponding NLIS account are linked to your myMLA account.
