The Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) eLearning suite has had a refresh to make it more current, comprehensive and, for the first time, freely available to anyone with a myMLA account.

The updated eLearning is now hosted on the MLA eLearning Toolbox. This means whether you're a producer, agent, advisor, saleyard operator, processor or even a student, you can access quality LPA training at no cost.

What's new?
The seven existing LPA Learning Modules have been fully refreshed to ensure they reflect current requirements covering:

  • Property risk assessments
  • Safe and responsible animal treatments
  • Fodder crop, grain and pasture treatments and stock foods
  • Preparation of livestock for dispatch
  • Livestock transactions and movements (NLIS and NVDs)
  • Biosecurity
  • Animal welfare.

Four new courses have also been added to the suite covering:

  • LPA overview
  • Harvested rangeland goats accreditation
  • NLIS devices and applications tips
  • Livestock agents and their role in integrity systems.

Accessible to all — with a certificate to show for it
Previously, LPA eLearning was primarily aimed at LPA-accredited producers. Now, anyone with a myMLA account can enrol and complete the courses for free. Every learner receives a certificate of completion for each course they finish.

For LPA-accredited producers and their employees, completed eLearning will automatically save to the LPA account you have linked within myMLA – helping streamline your record keeping and support future LPA audits.

How to get started
Create or log in to your myMLA dashboard and access the LPA modules via the eLearning Toolbox.

You can also access the eLearning directly from your LPA account under the Learning menu.
