Coming soon: faster, easier access to ISC

Changes are being made to the ISC Helpdesk services that will mean faster, easier access for the most common Helpdesk requests.

Producers will now be able to choose to self-serve for certain services, rather than speaking with a customer service officer, when calling for assistance.

From later in December, producers can choose to self-serve when:

  • Ordering National Vendor Declaration (NVD) books for cattle, sheep and goats
  • Resetting passwords for Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) and National Livestock Identification System (NLIS) accounts
  • Obtaining their LPA User ID (if forgotten)
  • Seeking instructions on completing the electronic National Vendor Declaration (eNVD) by linking to a how-to video.

While self-serve will be available for the above services, the option to speak with a customer service officer will remain available.  The ISC Helpdesk will also continue to transfer calls to relevant State departments of agriculture when required.
